Lead Generator – Business Development – NY

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inform and Implement the firm’s marketing and business development plan for the New York, NY market 
  • Actively pursue  and develop new client relationships through targeted research, market analysis, cold calling, and scoping
  • Researches and reports on industry and market trends
  • Generate leads and formal solicitations
  • Assist with proposals as needed
  • Increase firm’s visibility in NY 
  • Coordinate sales efforts by working with Principals to organize introductions/presentations
  • Organize marketing events
  • Actively network in commercial real estate, healthcare, life sciences, and higher education communities
  • Attend and network at industry events
  • Represent firm at professional organizations and on AEC committees 
  • Support the firm’s public relations efforts

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Deltek and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • 7+ years experience in lead finding in architecture, landscape architecture, engineering or interior design
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Marketing or related technical field 
  • Some travel and evening events required
