Aran McCarthy has over 20 years of experience working in healthcare architecture and design for greenfield hospitals and major healthcare companies. Over the years, he has led innovative team projects for numerous clients across the United States and Europe. He guides his clients through the process of building a hospital from the ground up, explaining the procedures that building hospitals entails. Aran communicates closely to introduce cutting-edge concepts that benefit his clients. His long-term business relationships with his clients has resulted in award-winning projects, such as the 2008 Best in Healthcare International Interior Design Award (IIDA) for AtlanticCare’s city campus and the 2010 Vista Award for New Construction for Geisinger Health System’s critical care building.
Aran has written many articles on architecture, notably “Collaborative Project Delivery: Better than IPD?” which appeared in Design Intelligence and “A Culture of Green” about sustainable practices for healthcare institutions, featured in Executive Insight. His work has also been showcased in Health Facilities Management and Oculus.
Aran holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University and a Diploma in Architectural Technology from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
