James Crispino

President

James Crispino was elected president of Francis Cauffman in 2004, where he served as principal since 1998. Over the past two decades, he has directed strategic planning, analysis, development studies, and implementation planning for the firm. Jim provides his expertise on expansions, construction and consolidation for a range of healthcare facilities including teaching hospitals, medical schools, and children’s centers. In 2010, his work as Principal-in-Charge for Geisinger Health System’s Critical Care Building won the Vista Award for New Construction.

Many of his projects have been featured in national publications, such as Health Facilities Manager, Healthcare Design, Architect, and Architectural Record. An expert in the field, he has written articles and lectures widely on topical issues in healthcare design. Jim is also a member of the American Hospital Association, Society of College and University Planners, and the American Association of Medical Colleges.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University and a Certificate in Health Facilities Planning from Harvard University.
