FULTON BANK PAVILION
Fulton Bank Headquarters
Lancaster, PA / 160,000 square feet
Lancaster city is a Heritage Conservation District and is the largest contiguous historic district in the United States. The buildings, much like its history, are layered with a variety of styles and materials. The street levels of King and Queen Streets are flanked with a rhythm of storefronts framed by brick and stone columns and arches. Fulton, much like Lancaster, is rooted in the past but looking to the future as it develops and grows. The design for the Fulton Pavilion is anchored to the ground with varying lengths of stacked horizontal slabs of blue stone. Interlocking precast concrete panels are layered over glass as the building rises above the adjacent 4 story buildings. The iconic floor wedge shape maximizes daylight and exterior view for office spaces and opens up to the roof terraces.
