Yale Ventures, Yale University's entrepreneurship initiative, has established a new 6,000-square-foot innovation center on the second floor of 101 College Street in downtown New Haven. This permanent facility replaces previous temporary locations, offering a flexible and modern design to support hybrid work and collaboration for Yale's entrepreneurial community.
The center features private offices with natural light and custom graphics, adaptable collaboration zones with movable furniture and kitchenettes, and various-sized conference rooms, including one that can host over 50 people. Additionally, it provides a wellness suite, phone booths, touchdown desks, a reception area, and micro-offices for visitors and students. The design incorporates an industrial aesthetic with exposed ductwork, wood accents, and modern finishes, prioritizing flexibility, collaboration, and a welcoming atmosphere.
