Kenneth S. Kramer
For the past 19 years, Ken Kramer’s focus has been dedicated exclusively on planning and managing healthcare facilities projects, particularly for complex acute environments. To ensure a well-coordinated and successful project for his client’s intricate environments, Ken works closely with the engineering and construction teams to create cutting edge designs for cardiovascular intervention services, imaging diagnostics, and integrated hybrid operating rooms. Ken is well versed in healthcare guidelines, life and safety requirements, and the functional programming needs of each area or procedure. He regularly observes surgeries and other day-to-day hospital operations to better understand how design can foster healthcare and minimize medical errors. His leadership role has resulted in the completion of a number of large-scale healthcare projects, notably for Virtua Health’s extensive medical campuses and the award-winning Morristown Hospital for Atlantic Health System.
Ken’s work has been featured in Interiors + Sources, Health Facilities Management, and Healthcare Design. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Spring Garden College in 1985.
