After the merger of two firms, this confidential legal client used its Wilmington relocation to establish a refreshed workplace with a new identity. Though the move remained within the same building, the new floor offered a chance to create a lighter, brighter, and more spacious environment organized around single-size offices for greater consistency and equity. The design advances a cultural shift through clear glass office fronts, allowing daylight from perimeter offices to extend deeper into the floorplate and fostering a more open, connected experience throughout the workplace. At the heart of the plan, a flexible conference center supports a variety of meeting formats and is positioned adjacent to the café, while a dedicated pre-function area provides space for refreshments, informal conversations, and seamless transitions between gatherings.
