MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper is a partnership between Cooper University Health Care and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. The Comprehensive Cancer Center treats all types of cancer for patients in the Northeast. The Center has a three-level cancer center plus one (1) shelled floor for future expansion. The program includes radiation oncology with two (2) linear accelerators, an infusion center with 36 treatment bays, a breast center, phlebotomy, and a central pharmacy. A new 170-space subsurface parking garage under a landscaped entry plaza was included. Patients and their families have access to a rooftop second-level garden retreat. The entry pavilion includes central registration and café. The building is planned for three (3) floors of vertical expansion. The project is a registered LEED-NC v3.0 Silver Award, 2014 Urban Green Award, New Jersey Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.
